Project requirements started with developing a program that identified the strategy, staff, structure, schedule, and systems to enhance engineering training for new employees. The strategy included understanding industry regulations, correlating them to company standards, and implementing the program on a structure with three-tier. Tier 1, general gas industry, Tier 2, job-specific training; and Tier 3, continual learning.
Laurie was a key contributor (staff) and designer of E-learning modules created based on seven regulatory sections. These sections included the design of pipeline components and construction and maintenance requirements. Laurie's skills included technical script writing, pre- and post-training assessment development, storyboarding, and the creative design and development of multimedia content intended to present facts in an interesting way.
While remaining focused on the outcome of learners, there was a demonstrated understanding of learning models and technology. Laurie's strong project management skills delivered an organized. process, resource management, and a deadline-driven focus while remaining mindful of stakeholder requirements.
